The district headquarters of Humla, Simkot, is experiencing snowfall from early morning on Sunday.
Following the snowfall, the air service to and from the only airport in Humla is affected. It is said that regular flights to Nepalgunj and Surkhet from Humla could not take place this morning due to the snowfall in Simkot.
However, the Himalayan district has not witnessed rainfall since mid-August. The local residents have said that the snowfall would help contribute to grow crops and vegetable in the district. RSS
