With increasing flow of domestic tourists in the region, a large number of people are either upgrading their existing hotel or starting a new one.
A team of four lead by Hari Shrestha, who was previously involved in stationary business, has started a party palace with a capacity to host 400 people at a time. Despite being a neighbouring district of Pokhara—one of the major tourist destinations -, Parbat could not attract tourists at it lacked good hotel in the past.
“In the past, those arriving here used to return back to Pokhara as we couldn’t offer them good hotels with proper facilities,” said Shresta of Hotel Bandana. “Now, we can accommodate around 200 people and offer all the facilities.”
