The accident took place when a Ghorahi-bound truck (Na 4 Kha 7560) from Tulsipur and a bus (Ra 1 Kha 789) coming from opposite direction collided with each other last night.
According to the information provided by Dang District Police Office, the critically injured are Leela Bahadur Budhathoki, 40, of Tripur municipality-10, Pal bahadur Nepali, 32, of Tripur municipality-1 and Shanti Devi Chauhan, 70, currently living in Dang.
After minor treatment at Rapti Sub-Regional Hospital, Ghorahi, the injured were sent to the Teaching Hospital Kohalpur for further treatment.
The bus driver is at large, police said.
Earlier, at least eight people killed and other 21 had sustained critical injuries in a school bus- microbus collusion in the same place.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian died when a Deluxe bus heading towards east hit him at Rapti municipality-2, Gadauli in Chitwan.
The deceased is Krishna Lal BK, 50, of Lothar VDC-6,Chitwan Police confirmed.
The bus (Na 4 Kha 4841) en route to east from Kathmandu hit BK while he was walking along the road. He died on the way to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment. RSS
