Nepali telecom operator Ncell said several of its offices, including its head office in Kathmandu and regional branches in Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara, were severely damaged during last week’s unrest. The company said the incidents posed risks to employee safety and disrupted service continuity.

Ncell said it provided free voice calls, SMS, and internet services for three days to maintain communication across the country. The operator said it remains committed to supporting Nepalis and the country’s digital development.

In a statement, Ncell also congratulated Sushila Karki on her appointment as interim Prime Minister and expressed support for the youth-led movement that spurred recent political changes. It extended condolences to those who died and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
