Soaltee Hotel donates Rs2.5 million to establish children's hospital in Damak

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Soaltee Hotel Limited has donated Rs2.5 million to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) to construct KIOCH Damak Satellite Children's Hospital. A cheque for the amount was handed over to Dr Bhagwan Koirala, the founding chairman of KIOCH, by Sudarshan Chapagai, vice president of Soaltee Hotel Limited. Prior to this, the company had also donated Rs2.5 million to KIOCH for the establishment of a children's hospital in Budhanilkanth Municipality, Kathmandu. “Our initiative is aimed at enhancing access to specialised healthcare services for children facing complex and critical medical conditions, making an impact on child healthcare nationwide,” the hotel said in a statement.
