Hyatt Place opens in Kathmandu
The newly built hotel has 153 rooms and several dining options for guests.Post Report
Hyatt Place, the second Hyatt-branded hotel, is throwing its door open on Monday.
Spread across 10 ropanies of land in Soalteemode, Kathmandu, the hotel has been built with an investment of Rs5 billion. The hotel will provide employment to 150 people.
The hotel has 153 rooms with separate spaces to sleep, work, play, as well as a comfy cozy corner with sofa sleeper (in select rooms). The hotel has several dining options such as the breakfast bar, zing world of flavours, zing sky bar and lounge, the market and the bar as well as free wifi everywhere, event space and fitness centre, according to the press statement issued by the hotel.
“As Kathmandu continues to be a sought-after spot for both business and leisure travellers, we are excited to add to the momentum of the thriving city by welcoming the first Hyatt Place to Nepal in this truly unique capital city, which is bursting with history and cultural traditions,” said Varun Talwar, general manager at Hyatt Place.
“With our smartly designed social spaces and guestrooms with separate work and sleep areas, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on road.”
