Kathmandu
Mahindra has flagged off the Summit Drive where a convoy of 29 vehicles consisting of the Scorpio, XUV 500 and Getaway will be travelling to Everest Base Camp from the Tibetan (China) side.
The Summit Drive will take the participants across treacherous and challenging road conditions in Nepal and Tibet. They will then drive through the ‘roof of the world’, Tibet, to the city of Lhasa, home of the Potala Palace and numerous monasteries.
The convoy will cover nearly 3,000 kms and return to Kathmandu on October 4. The Summit Drive is part of ‘Mahindra Adventure’, the Indian company’s push to introduce unique experiential marketing initiatives in Nepal.
