Popular comedy actor Rudra Prasad Bhattarai passed away at the age of 45 on Thursday night.

Bhattarai, who was renowned by the name 'Lajalam' in a popular comedy TV series Tito Satya, was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.

Bhattarai has won thousands of hearts through his stage performances. He has also appeared in comic roles in few movies as well. He has also released a music album.

He passed away at his hometown in Biratnagar. He is survived by wife and two sons.
