Shiva Kumar Chamlagai, a Nepali guy based in Sweden is taking part in an international Polar expedition ‘Fjällräven Polar’.

The competition requires the participants to travel 300km in a sledge pulled by six dogs. Chamlagai is the first Nepali to participate in the expedition.

Entry to Fjällräven Polar is by votes and jury selection and is country-to-country based. Two people from each country or group are selected. The person who receives the most votes in each country/group is chosen to participate in Fjällräven Polar. Fjällräven chooses the second person from each country or group.

Fjällräven Polar 2017 starts on 3 April and ends on 8 April.
