Sajha Yatayat, which has been operating public buses along different routes in the Capital, has said it is going to expand its services outside the Valley.
As part of Sajha’s plan to expand public transportation services outside the Valley, it is soon going to operate two buses each to Baglung and Gorkha districts from Sunday, said Mahendra Raj Pandey, acting executive director of Sajha Yatayat. The move could come as huge respite for travellers, especially in view of the Dashain festival, who usually face a hard time commuting during festival seasons.
Sajha Yatayat is a cooperative that aims to provide efficient and affordable mass transportation options to the public.
The buses will leave the Valley at 6:30am for Baglung and at 7am for Gorkha, informed Pandey.
Sajha is resuming its service outside of the Valley after a gap of 10 years. The transport company, which has been operating 16 buses in the Valley, has recently added 30 new vehicles to its fleet.
