The talks between a team of Dr Govinda KC and government representatives is underway on the thirteenth day of doctor KC’s hunger strike on Friday. The meeting began at Health Ministry in Singha Durbar this morning.

Earlier on Thursday, talks between Dr KC's team and three-member government committee had failed to make any headway.

Dr KC has been on a hunger strike for the last 13 days seeking reforms in the medical education sector.
