Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae has highlighted the tradition of Nepali students going to India as a symbol of special relationship between the two countries.

Speaking at the third anniversary programme of KISS Foundation held in the Capital on Monday, Ambassador Rae said, “It has been a long-held tradition among Nepali students to seek education in Benaras. Education is such a tie among the two countries which has led to a special bond and I hope this relationship continues forever.”

KISS Foundation had organised the programme to promote the art of giving philosophy propagated by Shri Achyuta Samanta. In the programme, Shri Achyuta Sharma stressed on the need for change in the way people perceive giving so that this world can be a better place to live. So far, 250 Nepali students have graduated from KIIT University, which is associated with the Foundation, and 50 more are currently studying there.
