Nepali Diaspora in London has started taking initiatives to urge British Prime Minister David Cameron to visit Nepal.
The UK-based Nepali communities took up the campaign concluding that there has not been a single official visit from the Prime Minister of Britain during the course of 200-year-old diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Thapa, had already extended formal invitation to Cameron during his Britain-visit in December last year.
The Nepali community in London are also preparing to invite Cameron from local level.
Tourism entrepreneur Rajaram Giri, who is also conducting initiatives to make the visit possible, feels the visit will further strengthen relation between the two countries.
Prince Harry is also slated to make an official visit to Nepal this spring.
