Nepali scientist bags Korean award

A Nepali environmental scientist has been honoured with Young Scientist Award 2015 in South Korea.
Korean Society for Atmospheric Environment awarded Rajib Pokhrel for his research on atmospheric visibility, air pollution dispersion modelling and indoor air quality management. Chairman of KOSAE Kim Dong-sul handed the award to Pokhrel during the 58th Conference on Atmospheric Environment held in Yeosu last week.
Pokhrel is a Research Professor at the College of Urban Science, Incheon National University in South Korea. He holds a PhD on Atmospheric Environment from Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the same university.
Each year, the Young Scientist Award is provided to one outstanding scientist working on atmospheric environment.
