Thread bomb hurled at Fin Min Mahat in Nuwakot
Cadres of Madhes-based parties have disrupted the public opinion collection programme in Mahottari.
bookmarkA delegation of lawmakers led by Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat was attacked by an unknown group while they were on their way to Nuwakot Constituency-2 to collect public opinion on the preliminary draft of the new constitution.

The unidentified group hurled a thread bomb targeting the Finance Minister and his team who were heading for Khairenitar, at Dhukure Bazar. However, no harm was done by the bomb whatsoever, according to our local correspondent Prakash Adhikari.
The police said that they are yet to ascertain the identities of the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, cadres of RPP-Nepal hurled objects at Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh during a programme at Dasharath Stadium in the Capital.
Likewise, Cadres of Hindu-supporting parties, including the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, Akhanda Nepal and Shiva Sena Nepal, have been detained in Darchula after they took out a protest rally demanding restoration of constitutional monarchy and Hindu kingdom.
