An unidentified gang has attacked Nepal Students' Union (NSU) chair and lawmaker Ranjit Karna at his own residence at Handigaun in the Capital on Tuesday.

Organising a press meet, chair Karna has urged the authorities to immediately arrest of the assaulters. He suspected that the attack might have done by some members of the NSU aiming to defame him.

The NSU spokesperson UP Lamichhane has condemned the attack and urged the police to take action against those involved in the attack.
