The first aftershock of the day was recorded at 12:03 pm, measuring 4.2 on the Richter. The epicenter of this aftershock was in Dolakha district, shared Lok Bijaya Adhikari, Chief of NSC.
Similarly, the latest aftershock recorded to have occurred at 1:15 pm measured 4.5 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of this aftershock was Sindhupalchowk district.
NSC Chief Adhikari said that the latest aftershock was most prominent in the Kathmandu Valley as its epicentre was in the district close to the Valley. Since the April 25 quake, the Centre has recorded 273 aftershocks measuring above 4 on the Richter scale. RSS
