DSP Binod Sharma confirmed the arrest of Raut and said he will be indicted on charge of treason.

Raut, who is advocating a secessionist campaign, has been arrested time and again for his anti-national activities.

Raut, who was arrested on October 8 and filed a case at the Special Court for advocating a separate national anthem and flag meant for a separate Madhes nation in the coming days, was given a clean-chit on April 23 by the court citing lack of enough claims.
