Rae was in Dadeldhura to inaugurate the new buildings for blood circulation and Mahendra Higher Secondary School constructed with the assistance of Indian Embassy in Nepal on Monday. The Indian envoy also visited the site of Pancheswor Project.
“I visited the project location,” Rae said, “People from both Nepal and India have been waiting for this project with utmost curiosity.”
Despite some differences regarding the project in the past, positive environment has been created as all sides have understood the importance of the project, Rae claimed.
“The DPR will be completed within a year,” Rae said, adding, “There should be no looking back from now as the project is important for both Nepal and India.”
Speaking from the Nepal-India’s joint office at Mahendranagar, Rae said the Indian side has already recruited the human resources required for the DPR and the working on DPR will commence once the Nepali side appoints the officials for the same.
Likewise, Rae claimed that no youths from the Far Western region will have to leave the country for foreign employment once the project begins. “Instead of going abroad for employment, all sides should pay attention towards the human resource development for the project,” Rae said.
