The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) had cut the electricity supply after the hospital administration failed to pay the electricity bills for a long time.
The medical personnel resorted to protest after the electricity transmission was cut and they were bound to stay in the dark owing it to the negligence of the hospital administration.
Dr Sanket Risal of the hospital said that they resorted to protests after the agreement to resume the electricity service was not implemented.
The hospital is yet to pay Rs 7.6 million to the NEA.
