BK was involved in acid attack on two SLC appearing students—Seema Basnet and Sangita Thapa—in Basantapur on February 22.
A bench of Judge Swikriti Parajuli directed to remand BK to the judicial custody, Registrar at the District Court Shree Prasad Sanjel said.
The District Attorney Office on April 12 had lodged a case of attempt to murder, demanding 12 years in jail to BK.
