The party CC meet will start deliberations on the proposal from Wednesday.
Party spokesperson Pampha Bhusal informed that Chairman Baidya has proposed initiating crackdown on corrupt, brokers and black marketers. “Now we are preparing to change the form of our protest programmes. We will initiate the campaign to take action against corrupt and black marketers. Anti-national elements will be exposed as part of the campaign,” said Bhusal.
She informed that party is preparing to launch a phase-wise agitation for national sovereignty and people’s livelihood by moblising maximum number of its party cadres.
A protest campaign from February 13 to April 7 has been proposed at CPN-Maoist CC meet today.
Likewise, the meeting has inducted 37 members into its Central Committee today. With this, the size of CPN-Maoist CC has become 125-member while making all the alternative members to fulltime members.
The 151 members committee was reduced to 87 members after some of the CC members deserted the party to join the new party formed by then CPN-Maoist Secretary Netra Bikram Chand.
