The Bhattarai aligned faction has been running a separate office at local Haramtari claiming themselves to be the official party office bearers.

They have alleged that the faction within the party's district committee close to party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal have tried to sideline them and hence they need to establish a separate party office. The Bhattarai faction has brought their office into operation from Monday.   

Although leader Bhattarai and Jhairman Dahal have agreed to resolve the ideological differences between them, the differences between the two factions run very deep in Gorkha district.
