The committee will comprise of Sapana Pradhan Malla, Ghanshyam Lal Das, Pradeep Pokharel and a member secretary appointed by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).

Likewise, the Cabinet meeting held today appointed Man Bahadur Nepali as the Chairman of National Dalit Commission, Jit Bahadur KC as head of National Investigation Department and Rameshwor Khanal as the Chairman of Chure Conservation Project.

Similarly, Parasad Koirala and Sharada Prasad Subedi have been appointed as the Chariman of University Grants Commission and Squatters Problems Resolution Commission respectively.

The meeting of the Council of the Ministers further appointed Bijan Panta as the social advisor to the Prime Minister.

Further, the meeting also appointed and transferred three Joint Secretaries as acting regional administrator.

Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Arjun Karki, Maha Sharam Sharma from the Education Ministry and Shanker Koirala from the Home Ministry have been appointed as the acting regional administrator for the Western, Eastern and Central respectively.
