The car is being presented to Khadka for his contribution in guiding the Nepali Cricket Team to secure a berth in the upcoming T-20 World Cup.

Baidya's organisation had announced, prior to the qualification match held in UAE in November last year, to gift a car to the best player if Nepal made to the T-20 World cup.

Ranjit Acharya, a member of Selection Committee, informed that the best player was selected according to the committee decision.

The announcement was made during the book launch of "Bishwa T-20 Cricket Ka Sarathi Haru," a compilation of biographies of the team members of the Nepali Cricket Team.

Selection Committee member Acharya, on behalf of Baidya, who was not present at the program, announced the name of Captain Khadka.

Acharya informed that the organisation has also announced to present a car to the best performer of Nepali team in the T-20 World Cup slated to be held in Bangladesh next month.
