Baral is an actor and a poet. He has acted in many Nepali movies, including Karkash, Chhadke, Saanghuro, Badhshala, Pashuati Prasad and Maun. He is also active in the theatre scene—mostly acting in plays at Mandala Theatre. He is also an acting coach.

Podcasts I follow:

On Air With Sanjay

The podcast, hosted by Sanjya Silwal Gupta, launched in May 2021 and has aired over 250 episodes to date. Gupta is well-known for his excellent hosting and presents diverse information in entertaining segments on his podcasts.

I like his podcast because new influencers from different fields come to his show, and in every new episode, he covers a variety of topics which is interesting for me to listen to.

Paradygm Podcast

Paradygm Podcast, hosted by Sisan Baniya, has aired over 50 episodes. The show focuses on some serious topics but without taking itself too seriously. It mostly covers burning social issues in the country and has some inspiring and motivational episodes.

I like how the conversations are informal and casual. Both the host and the guests come across as authentic and honest. I also find them relatable and engaging.

The Ranveer Show

This is an Indian podcast which covers topics like ancient India, world history, Hinduism, personal finance, global business updates, sports and Bollywood. Hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia, over 140 episodes of the show are out. Allahbadia’s YouTube channel, where he uploads episodes of this visual podcast, has over 4 million subscribers.

I listen to Allahbadia’s podcast while doing chores around the house. It gives me great insight into India, its pop culture and current events.

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

Storyteller and former monk Jay Shetty’s podcast, On Purpose, goes viral every other month. Shetty has had a bevy of big-name guests over on his podcast, including Selena Gomez, Lewis Hamilton, Kendall Jenner and Kobe Bryant, among others. Every episode is a great source of inspiration, wisdom and thoughts on love.

I find Shetty’s podcast very inspiring. I would recommend On Purpose to everyone when they need a dose of motivation.
