21 injured as bus falls off road in Gorkha

Three people were seriously injured in a bus accident in ward 3 of Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality and have been referred to Kathmandu for further treatment, police said.
Eighteen others injured are receiving treatment at Arughat Primary Hospital. The injured referred include driver Jhalak Bahadur Thapa Magar, 38, of ward 2 of Gandaki Rural Municipality; Durga Bahadur Khatri, 30, of ward 4 of Gorkha Municipality; and Ali Alam of Motihari, India.
The bus was travelling from Kathmandu to Arughat when its brakes failed, causing it to fall about four metres off the road, injuring 21 people, said Police Inspector Dhuba Prasad Sharma of the District Police Office, Gorkha.
