Pokhara Avengers take on Sudurpaschim Royals in the only Nepal Premier League match on Wednesday, with the game scheduled to begin at 5pm at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Led by Kushal Bhurtel, Pokhara will be looking to break their losing run against Sudurpaschim, having lost to them in both previous editions of the tournament. They will also be aiming to reach the playoffs for the first time after falling short in their previous campaigns.

Sudurpaschim, captained by Dipendra Singh Airee, will be keen to bounce back after losing their opening match of the ongoing tournament. Despite reaching the final in each of the first two editions, the Royals are yet to win the title and will be hoping to go one better this season.

The third edition of the NPL began on October 26, with eight teams competing for the title. The final is scheduled for November 21.
