Kathmandu Gurkhas have set a modest target of 102 runs against Janakpur Bolts in their ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) match. Kathmandu’s innings concluded at 101 runs in 19.3 overs after opting to bat first upon winning the toss.

Kathmandu struggled throughout their innings, losing wickets at regular intervals. Stephen Eskinazi contributed 17 runs, while Gerhard Erasmus managed 20, and Karan KC chipped in with 19. Other batters, including Michael Levitt (8), Rashid Khan (7), and Pratik Shrestha (6), failed to make significant contributions. Shahab Alam remained unbeaten on 8 runs, while Janakpur's bowlers conceded 11 extras.

Janakpur’s bowling attack shone, with Lalit Rajbanshi leading the charge by claiming three wickets. Sher Malla also grabbed three scalps, while Mohammad Mohsin took two. Kishore Mahato and Araniko Yadav contributed with one wicket each, leaving Kathmandu’s batting line-up in disarray.
