Arjun Kumal, Dev Khanal hit centuries as Nepal post 344 runs target for Kuwait

Arjun Kumal and Dev Khanal chipped in with centuries as Nepal posted a mammoth 344 runs target for Kuwait in their second match of the Asian Regional Qualifiers of the ICC U-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup on Saturday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss at Malek Cricket Ground in Ajman, the United Arab Emirates, Nepal finished the inning with 343 runs on the board losing seven wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
Opener Kumal made 108 runs off 112 balls, smashing 12 fours, as skipper Khanal hit 125 runs off 117 balls. Bishal Bikram KC and Dipak Parsad Dumre contributed 23 and 20 runs respectively.
Arsh Sahil Kazmi and Henry Thomas of Kuwait took two wickets each.
Aakash Tripathi and Bishal Bikram KC slammed a half-century each as Nepal made a flying start defeating Singapore by 96 runs in its first match on Friday.
