A joint presentation by Ka Baata and Siddhartha Arts Foundation’s Education Initiative, the exhibit will also feature a fair that will include audio-visual art, installation art, photography and videography.
The project Mero Chowk aims to explore the notion of belonging in the Greater Patan area: Patan, Jawalakhel, Kumaripati and Pulchowk. Mero Chowk has, through a three-month long research, interactions and observations, explored and collected various oral narratives of people who work around the Patan area about how their lifestyle has been shaped in the light of the trend of modern business ventures replacing traditional business activities.
The exhibit aims to draw light to the collective cultural heritage through a myriad art ventures.
The exhibit will also allow interactions between visitors and the artists about their own perspectives on the subject.
