The Hidden Treasure Fanta Miss Nepal 2016 is scheduled to take place at Hotel Annapurna in the Capital tonight. The 19 final contestants, who have been groomed over a period of weeks, will battle it out on stage to win the coveted crown of Miss Nepal 2016, based on their wit and beauty.

This year’s rendition of the pageant has Sangita Shrestha, Jiwan Liutel, Rajendra Thapa, Ganga Jung Thapa, Laxman Humagain, Indira Joshi, Sneh Rana, Babita Basnet, Nabina Lama, Sachin Shrestha, and Asmi Rana in the panel of judges.

Among the 19 finalists, only 10 will be selected to head into the next round; the title winner of Fanta Miss Bubbly, which is based on public votes, will get a direct wildcard entry into the top 10 finalists. From the top 10, only five will be selected to contest for the winning answer from the panel of judges. Other sub-title winners will also be announced tonight at the gala event.

This year’s programme, which is dedicated to the earthquake victims, will start with video clippings of the quakes of last year. It will be followed by an introduction round of the participants and the judges. A video of the making of the new crowns, which are a reflection of the Nepali culture, will also be presented at the event.

The winner of Hidden Treasure Fanta Miss Nepal 2016 will go on to represent Nepal at the Miss Nepal World 2016 pageant, the first runner up at Miss Nepal Earth 2016 and the second runner up at Miss Nepal International 2016.

The red carpet is scheduled to start at 7 am, followed by the main event at 7:30 pm. The programme will be aired live by MNS VMag, Radio Kantipur and NTV Live. The event will be followed by a coronation dinner with the newly-crowned beauty queens.
