Kathmandu Don Bosco starts EMBA
Kathmandu Don Bosco College, which has been offering students with kindergarten to maters-level education, has added an EMBA programme to its academic offeringsThe programme, affiliated to Purbanchal University, was launched on Friday amid the presence of entrepreneurs, businessmen and educationists.
Bishwo Prakash Pandit , secretary at the Ministry of Education, inaugurated the launch event. The programme will commence from the new academic session starting next month. According to a statement issued by the college, Pandit praised the college for providing quality professional business education in Nepal.
Kapil Dev Regmi, executive director of the college, said that the EMBA course emphasises on the modality of bringing industries into classrooms and vice versa.
He also said that the partnership that the college currently has with Little Angels College of Management and Xavier’s Academy will be a milestone for business education in Nepal.
FNCCI representatives Bhawani Rana and Gyanendra Lal Pradhan and director general of CNI, Megh Nath Neupane, among others, appreciated the contributions made by Kathmandu Don Bosco College in Nepal’s education sector and expressed their interests to work with the institution, the statement said.
