Soft to the touch
Fifteen ladies have triumphed in this year’s Vaseline’s Mero Amazing Skin Contest on Facebook, winning gift hampers, after having taken a moisture test at Vaseline’s skin booths
The Vaseline Mero Amazing Skin Campaign 2013 came to a resounding end at a programme held at the 8 Degrees restaurant in Jhamsikhel on January 12. The event, organised by Unilever Nepal Ltd, had started on December 17.
During the campaign, brand promoters gave ‘Moisture Meter’ tests to thousands of women in various places like Gwarko, Patan Durbar Square, and the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, among others, across the Valley, which allowed them to gauge the hydration/moisture level in their skin and discover the improvement in the same after the application of Vaseline Total Moisture. Abhishek Kumar, the marketing manager at Unilever Nepal, said that the campaign was intended to share tips on why it is so important to keep skin hydrated, especially in the winter, and how to go about achieving it.
In addition, women also participated in a Facebook contest after having taken part in the skin booth tests, and 15 winners were selected to win gift hampers. The lucky ones were Binita Thapa, Sarita Shrestha, Kalpana KC, Sushmita Mainali, Smiriti Dongol, Jog Maya KC, Selija Neupane, Tulasha Rajthala, Stuti Thapa, Prakriti Koirala, Rojena Deshar, Pratigya Aryal, Elina Maharjan, Ojashavi Rana and Nabita Shrestha.
