Miss Nepal 2024 hosts Vatsalya Miss Visionary Challenge

The Hidden Treasure, in collaboration with Dabur Vatika and Vatsalya Natural IVF, hosted the Miss Nepal 2024 Vatsalya Miss Visionary Head-to-Head Challenge at Hotel Himalaya on Friday. This event is one of the key subtitle competitions of Miss Nepal 2024.
The head-to-head challenge saw 26 finalists divided into five groups, each tackling questions related to sexual and reproductive health awareness. Each participant had three minutes to present their views on their assigned question.
Group one, consisting of Subekshya Karki, Sumana KC, Roshani Dahal, Ambika Rana, and Anisha Malla, answered the question, “Do you think lifestyle changes in women are causing changes in their lives and fertility?”
Group two included Prashuna Bhusal, Nivita Chapagain, Dikshya Awasthi, Lalita Sherbuja, and Saamin Koirala, who addressed the question, “What are your thoughts on rising mental health issues caused by infertility in both men and women?”
Group three, featuring Preravita Swar, Ashma Kumari KC, Saira Khadka, Irina Shrestha, and Urja Newa, discussed, “Why do you think regular gynaecological check-ups and screenings are important? What kind of challenges do women encounter in accessing these services?”
Group four participants, Samikshya Niraula, Radhika Thapa, Karuna Rawat, Simrika Manandhar, and Kimti Shrestha, were asked, “What are your thoughts on the role of personal hygiene in the reproductive health of females? What measures can be taken to raise awareness about this?”
Group five, comprising Puja Baral, Anjana Pun, Eva Giri, Aanchal Khatri, Shraddha Suman Silwal, and Drishti Thapa, examined, “What are your thoughts on PCOS? In your opinion, is PCOS a growing serious problem among women, and what measures can be taken to reduce the syndrome and raise awareness about it?”
The discussions highlighted critical issues affecting women’s health and aimed to raise awareness and encourage proactive health management.
From these discussions, five contestants were selected to advance: Sumana KC from Group One, Nivita Chapagain from Group Two, Saira Khadka from Group Three, Samikshya Niraula from Group Four, and Shraddha Suman Silwal from Group Five. The winner of the Miss Visionary title will be announced at the Miss Nepal 2024 finale.
