The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said the country is under the mild influence of a westerly disturbance. Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces’ hilly areas are witnessing partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

Fog has engulfed many parts of the Tarai. Light snowfall is likely in one or two places in the Koshi Province’s mountainous region this afternoon.

The division has advised caution, as fog in the Tarai could momentarily affect daily life, health, transportation, and aviation.
