In the aftermath of the recent flood, vegetable sellers at Balkhu vegetable market are facing significant challenges. The market, once bustling with customers, now lies in disarray, with many stalls damaged or destroyed by the swollen Bagmati River.

Vendors report substantial losses, as their fresh produce was swept away or rendered unsellable. The impact has affected their livelihoods and disrupted the supply of vegetables, leading to scarcity and increased prices.
