Rescuers have retrieved 21 bodies so far from the vehicles buried at Jhyaple Khola in Dhading district.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailendra Thapa, search operations are going on to ensure no other vehicles are still in the debris. The landslide at Jhyaple Khola buried two microbuses and a bus in the debris on Saturday morning.
Hundreds of passengers, stranded on the way, are being brought to Kathmandu via the under-construction Nagdhunga-Sisneri tunnel.
