President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Monday left for a four-day state visit to Qatar.
Vice President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara were present at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to see off the president.
During her visit, the head-of-the-state is scheduled to meet her Qatari counterpart Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani. This is her second foreign visit in the capacity of President of Nepal.
It has been learnt that President Bhandari will discuss various issues like security of Nepali migrant workers, opportunity, challenges and investment with her Qatari counterpart. More than 400,000 Nepalis are currently working in the oil-rich nation.
