The outgoing President Ram Baran Yadav is shifting to his new residence based at Bagdol, Lalitpur on Thursday. The residence is provided by the government in his capacity as the ex-President of Nepal.

Yadav remained as the ceremonial head of state for seven years and three months. He was elected to the President’s post on 23 July, 2008.

The government rented the house of one Mahesh Bista and provided it to Yadav.

A team of Nepal Army has made necessary arrangements in the house.
