Five dead, nine injured in jeep accident in Darchula
The jeep was on its way to the district headquarters, Khalanga, from Gokuleshwar when the accident occurred at Shailyashikar Municipality-6, Ullani.

Five died on spot and nine were injured in a jeep accident in Darchula on Wednesday.
The jeep was on its way to the district headquarters, Khalanga, from Gokuleshwar when the accident occurred at Shailyashikar Municipality-6, Ullani, according to Hikmat Bahadur Thapa, information officer at the District Police Office.
The accident site is a kilometre away from Malika Arjun Mandir.
Among the deceased, four were men and one woman.
Police personnel from Malika Arjun police station and local residents are currently engaged in rescuing the injured.
