Kathmandu Gorkhas have signed a sponsorship agreement with Xtreme Energy Drink as their official beverage partner for the upcoming Nepal Premier League cricket season, which is set to start on November 17.

The agreement was signed by Anubhav Sirohiya, executive director of the Gorkhas, and Pawan Kumar Shrestha, general manager of Xtreme Energy Drink. Neither party disclosed the financial details of the deal. Under the agreement, the Gorkhas will feature the energy drink’s logo on the back of their team jerseys throughout the tournament.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Sirohiya said the NPL and franchise cricket would be incomplete without sponsors and expressed confidence that the partnership with Xtreme Energy Drink would boost the team’s morale, not just financially but also in spirit.

Shrestha expressed happiness to get associated with the Gorkhas and support the growth of Nepali cricket.

Kathmandu Gorkhas have already partnered with WorldLink as their main sponsor, Shikhar Insurance as their gold partner, and Royal Tulip Hotel as their official hospitality partner.

Led by captain Karan KC, the Gorkhas’ squad includes Bhim Sharki, Shahab Alam, Rashid Khan, Aadil Alam Ansari, Dipesh Kandel, Santosh Yadav, Aakash Tripathi, Pratik Shrestha, Tul Bahadur Thapa, and Uttam Thapa. Their international lineup features Ricardo Vasconcelos from England, Gerhard Erasmus of Namibia, and American players Milind Kumar and Sunny Patel.
