The club’s website confirmed the report on Sunday without giving any details on the agreement. Chand, who also plays as a defender, is currently the only one player from the national squad to ply his trade abroad. T-Team finished third in the Malaysian Premier League last season.
An Anfa (All Nepal Football Academy) product, Chand started his professional carrer with Machhindra Football Club in the top-tier Nepali football before joining HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) Sporting Club in the I-League of India in 2010. Ever since, he has played for Indonesian outfits PSPS Pekanbaru and Persija Jakarta. Chand spent the last two seasons with Persija.
