Six injured in Palpa jeep accident
The jeep heading to Gulmi from Butwal skidded off the road and fell some 50 metres down into a paddy field causing the casualties, police say.

At least six passengers were injured when a jeep met with an accident in Tansen Municipality-12 of Palpa district on Saturday.
The jeep heading to Gulmi from Butwal skidded off the road and fell some 50 metres down into a paddy field causing the casualties, according to Birendra Thapa, information officer of Palpa District Police Office.
All the injured have been sent to Lumbini Medical College in Prabhas for treatment, police said, adding two of them are in critical condition.
The accident occurred at the Jorte-Luhung section of the Tansen bypass road. The traffic to Gulmi from Palpa has been diverted through the road as the Tansen-Ridi road section is being upgraded.
