One dead in Chitwan road accident

At least one person was killed in a road accident in the Rapti Municipality-3 section of the East-West Highway on Saturday.
Forty-two-year-old Prakash Kunwar was seriously injured after the truck he was driving collided head-on with another truck at around 6:30am, police said.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijaya Raj Pandit, Kunwar was rushed to the Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur but succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at around 7:15am.
Another driver Rabin Kumar Yadav and Nikesh Raut Kurmi have sustained minor injuries, said police.
