Nepal Bar Association has honoured Kiran Paudel of Kantipur Television for his outstanding contribution to legal reporting.

Paudel was recognised for his role in informing the public on issues related to justice and law, thereby supporting the cause of an independent judiciary, the rule of law, and democratic processes, the Association said.

He was presented with a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize by Senior Advocate Krishna Prasad Bhandari and Nepal Bar Association President Gopal Krishna Ghimire during the Nepal Bar Association’s Annual General Assembly on Saturday.

Paudel covers judiciary, constitutional commissions, and foreign affairs for Kantipur Television.

During the event, the Association also awarded Sudarshan Acharya of Ratopati.com for his contributions to legal journalism.
