Kathmandu

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is set to seek a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on January 10.

Dahal has written to the Parliament Secretariat asking the latter to include the voting agenda among other agenda items of the House meeting on January 10 and make the necessary arrangements for the same.

Dahal plans to take the vote of confidence immediately after the new parliament session starts on January 9.

Dahal was sworn in as the prime minister amid a special function at the president’s office on December 26.

Dahal has said he will expand his cabinet only after he wins the vote of confidence.
