Kathmandu

The National Examination Board on Wednesday published the results of the Secondary Education Examination held in April.

Of 495,751 students who took the 10th grade final examination, 9,633 graduated with Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.60 and above. The maximum GPA a student can score is 4.

Similarly, 41,627 students secured 3.20 to 3.60 GPA while 69,900 students managed to secure GPA between 2.80 to 3.20.

The number of students graduating with 2.40 to 2.80 GPA stood at 90,758. As many as 112,733 students qualified for grade 11 with 2.0 to 2.40 GPA.

Making public the results, examination controller Arjun Rayamjhi said the local elections delayed SEE results by some days this year.

“The teachers assigned to correct the answer sheets were deployed in the election. That led to a delay in publishing the result by a few days,” he said at a press meet on Wednesday.

The board held in-person SEE this year. In 2020 and 2021, the board had issued the certificates to students based on the internal evaluation in the respective schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
