Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal said his party has agreed to increase elderly allowance from next year.

At a press meet in Kaski district on Tuesday, Dahal said the party’s secretariat has agreed to increase the allowance from next year. The amount not increased this year will be compensated by next year’s increment, Dahal said media persons. He added they will work as per the election manifesto announced by the party.

The former PM also informed party’s unification process was about to end and the party was also reviewing the works of the government.

Dahal had reached Sikles in Kaski district to unveil Peace Memorial.
