Issuing a joint press statement on Sunday, four youth and student wings of the party, demanded that the government immediately address the demands put forth by Dr KC through talks and form High Level Medical Education Commission to permanently resolve the issues prevailing in nation’s medical education sector.
Likewise, the statement, jointly issued by Young Communist League, Youth Association Nepal, All Nepal National Free Students Union and All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), has demanded that the government prohibit banda and strike on health sector.
Similarly, the NCP youth, student wings have demanded the government to immediately nationalise private medical colleges or transform them into non-profit trust.
